Oceanize is helping to establish circular value chains for plastics in Norway and has taken a leading role in the recycling of plastics from aquaculture and fisheries. We turn industrial plastic waste into new and valuable products. 

We are located on Ottersøya in Nærøysund municipality, and we are part of the Moen Group. We currently have 60 employees and are constantly growing. 

We are now expanding our plastic recycling production and are looking for committed employees who want to work with sustainability in practice. 

PRODUCTION MANAGER

As a production manager, you will be responsible for leading and further developing production in the company. You must be forward-looking and committed to progress and results. We are looking for a leader who is forward-looking and shares our commitment to sustainable development.

Work tasks

• Lead and develop the production department
• Ensure efficient production lines          
• Budget and performance responsibility for the department
• Development and follow-up of methods and procedures
• Ensure compliance with the requirements of the quality management system

Desired qualifications

• Experience from production management
• Relevant education
• Good financial and business understanding
• Good knowledge of Norwegian and English

PRODUCTION WORKER

As a production employee with us, you will be part of an experienced team that works with everything from grinding, granulation, loading, sorting, etc. We are looking for employees for both our plant at Ottersøya in Nærøysund and our mobile grinding plant that travels around Norway. We have positions with different working time regulations, and also offer shift arrangements (shift arrangement 1 week on/1 week off or 3 weeks on/3 weeks off)

Desired qualifications:

• Vocational certificate/relevant practice
• Experience with machinery/ good mechanical understanding
• Machine operator's license is a plus
• Class B driver's license
• A driving license class CE, D is an advantage
• You are fluent in Norwegian or English

• You are responsible and take pride in the work you do
